ASI's breakthrough automated fluorescent
detection technology will let researchers avoid current technological
limitations in simultaneously detecting and differentiating multiple
fluorescent signals.
By easily integrating our technology
into existing fluorescent-based instrument platforms, new products
are created and the capacity and performance of existing products
is greatly enhanced.
By easily integrating our technology

can be created or the capacity and performance of existing
products can be enhanced
Our unique technology can detect, separate
and quantify overlapping fluorescent signals. Its automated multi-channel,
multiplexing approach achieves higher information throughput,
enables information-rich assays, and helps eliminate batch variability
concerns. And our inherently excellent signal-to-noise ratio
enhances sensitivity traditionally masked by multiple filters.
We believe this represents an opportunity
for potential partners to develop automated "next-generation"
multiplexing fluorescent-detection platforms to meet ever increasing
needs for image-based systems that are more information-dense,
more cost-effective and offer higher through-put than currently
available systems. It's a unique new opportunity to bring the
details to light.
Strategic
Alliance/Partnering Perspective
We're interested in meeting with strategic partners who want
to pursue joint efforts for development of "next-generation"
spectral imaging fluorescent detection systems. Our proprietary
technology and capabilities provide an excellent opportunity
for:
- A broadly applicable new product line
to re-energize an existing market franchise.
- A detection platform to launch a series
of related assays in a specific application.
- A replacement platform suitable for
today's markets that value improved accuracy and efficiency,
and increased levels of sensitivity and specificity.
Strategic Alliance/Partnering could
involve any or all of the following:
- Exclusive marketing rights in agreed-on
fields and/or geographies for the partner.
- Joint definition of and participation
in a feasibility testing program -- then execution of a joint
development program to integrate and configure ASI's technology
into the partner's preferred "next-generation" detection
system design.
- Supply, development, and manufacturing
arrangements that make optimal use of ASI's and our partners
capabilities.
- Milestone/rights, license fees and/or
royalty payments to ASI consistent with the magnitude of the
opportunity, the relative risk assumed by each partner, and
the technology/ intellectual property contributed to the program.
- Equity investment in ASI.
