Applied Spectral Imaging Introduces Analytical Imaging Platform With Potential in Genomics Applications
Migdal Ha'Emek, Israel, April 23, 2001 - Applied Spectral Imaging has recently introduced SpectraView™, an analytical spectral imaging workstation that can distinguish between materials that appear identical. "We are very excited about the potential of SpectraView™," said H. Laurence Shaw MD, ASI's CEO. "SpectraView™ can provide a new dimension in material identification in a multitude of applications," says Dr. Shaw. "Significant applications in plant genomics, microarray readers, drug discovery and safety testing, forensics, semiconductor process and quality control, color quantification and verification, and other industrial inspection areas are being pursued."
