challenge: 'get things cooking' - client recently introduced a web-related marketing engine to help food service distributors more effectively sell brand name products and garner manufacturer co-op dollars. They were not satisfied with their "industry-specific" marketing companies results so they engaged Norstar to heat things up.
solution: we developed a new logo and multi-phase direct mail effort that included a FedEx style envelope, to get the sales manager's attention, a "benefits" brochure targeted to the sales managers needs and goals, and a tickets to an on-line webinar. The direct mail effort also included a "white-mail" versions for the more analytical thinkers, web-site pages to support a subsequent telemarketing effort and then a parallel campaign to get food manufactures prepare their "Brand" information for the distributors.
